Marry Me... Reason #96

If you wake up because you hear something go bump in the night- I'll go and see what it is and I will make it stop bumping using any means necessary. I ain't afraid of no ghost or burglar or over-sized rat (ROUS) for that matter.

You are a prince, and a man above ordinary men. I'd bet you'd even slay cockroaches. Those things scare the PEE outta me.

So Ed, if a chick reads your blog and likes what she see's, what should she do?

CraigS - they normally just drop me an email - eddo at posted note dot com is listed in my profile... I get emails almost weekly... but it seems most of the women are married or older. I don't do a lot to publicize the site, but some people say I should turn it into a coffee table book.

I think it would make a rather nice little book. Perhaps when you reach reason 101.

If you want pictures and a publisher... actually I don't know about the publisher part, but yes the pictures part.

Ed, why do married women email you? Are they looking for affairs??

I emailed you this comment directly Craig, but for my reader's benefit...

Married women email me because they wish their husband's were as thoughtful or sweet.

I'm not a husband yet and so it is easy for me to say all of these things.

I have been involved with a Song of Solomon: Love, Sex, Marriage seminar thing for the last 3 years and so I know a good deal about marriage and what makes it work, but it's kind of like hearing and reading about how to ride a bicycle - but never having had a bike.

Lord knows I won't be a perfect husband, but I will sure try.

I'm not married, but I'm too old for Eddo. :D I still adore him, though, and am a big fan of these. I think they SHOULD be turned into a coffee table book!

I wonder if you know my friend Grace - she did a year long program a year or so ago with Tommy in Texas...

I really think you should turn it into a book that men could give to their wives - an inspirational book

From reading these posts, it seems like you do desire to love your wife as Christ did the church - sacrificially - remember, suffering produces perseverance - perseverance produces character and character produces hope - so as you suffer in marriage (in whatever way it comes), character will be produced and will produce hope..so do not fear that it will fade away but grow as it you are challenged and refined...anyway, deep thoughts for this sweet site...
